I have been so blessed to have grown up in a family where my parents feared the Lord and taught me biblical values.    The greatest delight in my life besides my personal walk with God is my family.    As a pastor I have spoken hundreds of times on family issues and have scoured the Bible for what it teaches about having a successful family.   I have read hundreds of books that dealt with marriage, parenting and family life.    While in no way do I pretend to be an expert on these issues nor would I profess to have a perfect family, I do have a burden for the family unit and to be a help in whatever way I might be able to offer.

So, with those disclaimers stated and my heartfelt intention given I hope that these occasional words on this blog will indeed hit their mark by being a source of encouragement and perhaps offer some insight that would be a blessing and help to those that would read along the way.
